The HIV is Not a Crime VI (HINAC6) Scholarship Work Group is now accepting nominations for scholarships for the HIV Is Not a Crime VI National Training Academy to be held at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. The HINAC6 partner organizations – SERO Project, Positive Women’s Network – USA , Positively Trans, and U.S. PLHIV Caucus – are inviting anyone to participate in the scholarship process by simply nominating an advocate they feel should experience HINAC6. We are looking to prioritize advocates and community leaders in supporting them to bring the strategies and tips shared at the training academy back to their community but who would not have the resources or sponsorship to attend otherwise. Priority consideration will be given to people living with HIV, people of trans or gender non-conforming experience, harm reduction advocates, people of color, survivors of HIV criminalization, and sex workers – we are looking to uplift those in southern states as well.
